TOM AND JULIE LAMAR
PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT
Lamar Design is a family owned small business that began with Tom and Julie Lamar's passion for design and architecture. The couple has built a firm that brings exemplary service and craftsmanship to each client project.
With over 20 years of design experience, Tom began his career in the field of design as a draftsman, which followed two years of serving his country in the United States Army. After his service, he went on to obtain his Master of Architecture Degree from FAMU. Once graduating, he took the title of Commercial Project Manager, and now owns and operates as the President of his own firm, Lamar Design Incorporated, which came to fruition in 2005. The awards and honors he has received in these endeavors are a testament to his quality of work and leadership in this field.
Julie has a background in psychology, with a Master in Science from UCF but decided to pursue a career in design after seeing the beauty of interiors and the impact design has on people's lives. As vice president of Lamar Design, Julie brings her expertise in space planning and curation of interior elements to each project. Julie craves a design challenge and works to find informed solutions for every aspect of design.
